Vancouver Giants vs. Prince George Cougars
This is the night of the annual teddy bear toss!
Hello everyone and welcome to another Giant’s night! As most of you know, this is one of the major annual fundraisers for NVMHA. NVMHA purchases tickets from the Vancouver Giants at a reduced rate and then we resell them for a small profit for the Association. We also host the 50/50 draw and we receive the proceeds. Tickets to the game are $16.00 each.
Ticket selling incentives
1) The initiation player that sells the most tickets will get to be the 7th man during the warm up.
2) Hockey 2-4: The team that sells the most will get to go on the ice during the first intermission for a mini game!
4) All Atom and above teams : The team that sell the most tickets will get team tickets to one of the Giants’ first 2 playoff games this season OR an ice time at Pacific Coliseum
5) All teams: Every team that sells 40 or more tickets will get to keep $3.00 per ticket for their team.
What we Need from You
• A team representative is required from each NVMHA team to promote, order, and distribute tickets to your team. The rep will keep Chris Birkett updated as to how many tickets have been sold weekly, so that we order enough.
• E-mail Chris to let us know who your Giants Night team representative will be ASAP so he has one point of contact for each team. By default, the contact will be the team manager unless otherwise notified.
• Team representatives collect all orders from their team, and bring one payment to the meeting place (with the $3.00 netted-out if over 40 tickets are sold per team, as above).
• We need 25 people to help sell 50/50 tickets at the game. Ask the parents on your team to come out and help – it’s lots of fun! Contact Chris directly if you are able to help out.
Ticket Logistics
I will be at KMA on Monday, December 10th to hand out tickets, and collect money. Initiation teams who sell 50 or more tickets from 6:00 – 6:30pm; teams from Atom through Juvenile who sell 50 or more from 6:30 – 7:00 pm and all other teams from 7:00 – 7:30 pm.
Tickets are $16.00 each and will be a mix of lower bowl end zones and mid- blues. Cheques are to be made out to NVMHA. Maximum of 50 lower bowl tickets per initiation team.
Thank you for your support!
