Coaching clinics now open for registration

Our two coaches clinics have been approved and are up on the BC HOCKEY website for registration at https://ehockey.hockeycanada.ca/ehockey/ClinicL…

Hybrid Clinic – 2-day course September 22-23. It has an on-ice component so skates and helmets are required.

Developmental 1 – 2-day course October 20-21. It has an on-ice component so skates and helmets are required.

C and H2-4 level evaluations Sept. 8-9

C and H2-4level evaluations will take place for all age groups on Saturday, September 8 and Sunday, September 9, 2012. Click this link for the schedule: http://www.teampages.com/organizations/290/docu…. Your Division Director is also emailing the schedule to you.

Please ensure your child is available. Our ability to evaluate every player before assigning them to teams ensures a balanced set of teams and helping to avoid unwanted player moves as the season unfolds. So please prepare your child for a return to the ice in full, size-appropriate gear, helping them do their best.

Ben Benicky named Midget A2 Coach for 2012-13

Ben is a North Vancouver alumnus and has been coaching in the North Van system at the Rep level for the past 2 seasons. Ben was the Bantam A2 coach last year and the previous year was the Midget A1 coach.

Ben is a young coach with much to offer and the ability to grow and learn under guidance. Ben works with many Rep and house players with skill development as he is an instructor and director with the Hockey Performance group ran by Dusane Benicky out of North Shore Ice Sports. Ben is eager to coach and develop players at the Midget level.
