Visiting Team Protocol
Arena information for Visiting Teams
The North Vancouver Minor Hockey Association is working closely with our facilities to ensure a safe return to Hockey. Please review the documents below prior to your arrival at the rinks.
Health Screening & Check-in
Self Screening – Please ensure the visiting team manager submit the completed check-in sheet to the home team manager prior to the game.
Facility Numbers
14 players per team (including goalie). 3 coaches, 1 manager, 1 HCSP
Dressing rooms, Equipment & Water
- No access to Dressing rooms – space in the lobby to put on/take off skates only.
- Players to come fully dressed.
- No full-size hockey bags permitted. Bring a small bag for gloves, skates, helmets, and any extras.
- If players can not put on skates independently - they should wear skates with hard skate guards to walk in.
- Roller Guards are NOT permitted.
- Bring pre-filled water bottles - No water filling stations available.
Arrival
- 20min prior
- Players will be given access 10 minutes prior to ice time
- Queue up outside in the staging area (marked on the map)
- Maintain physical distancing
- NVMHA Arena Safety Team (AST) will direct
Masks & Face Coverings
- Players are not to remove masks until ready to go onto the ice and must put a mask on upon leaving the ice
- Team officials must wear masks at all times
- Anyone within the vicinity of the entrance, staging area, or AST must wear masks
- Masks are to be worn properly over both nose and mouth
Entrance
West Community Sports Entrance - Adjacent to play park.
Staging Area
Near Entrance - as marked on the map. Covered space is very limited - please ensure players have umbrellas if it is raining.
Spectators
None
Exit
- Players have 5min to exit.
- Players only have time to take off skates or put on skate guards
- U15 to U21 can exit up the stairs through north rink doors onto 23rd Street
- U11 to U13 exit through west rink doors (same doors as entered)
