NVMHA Announces Aaron Krantz as New Director of Hockey Operations

North Vancouver, BC – November 12, 2025 – The North Vancouver Minor Hockey Association (NVMHA) is pleased to announce Aaron Krantz as its new Director of Hockey Operations following a comprehensive three-month search process.

Aaron joins NVMHA as a long time resident on the North Shore and active member in the broader hockey community. With over 20 years of experience at Canlan Sports, Aaron has held multiple leadership roles, including oversight of youth and adult hockey programming, grassroots development, corporate sales, and most recently, new product development across North America.

In addition to his professional experience, Aaron has been deeply involved in Hockey Canada’s Skills Academy through the North Vancouver School District, based at Windsor Secondary, where he has coached and contributed to program design for more than two decades.

“Aaron’s extensive background and passion for community-based hockey development make him an exceptional addition to NVMHA,” said Cynthia Curll, NVMHA President. “His leadership and vision will help us continue to strengthen our programs and ensure a positive, inclusive experience for all of our players and families.”

Aaron and his family are long-time North Vancouver residents. His daughter recently began her hockey journey with the North Shore Female Ice Hockey Association (the Avalanche), where Aaron is also an active member of that community.

“I’m excited to join NVMHA and build on the great work already being done by the association,” said Krantz. “Community hockey is where lifelong passion and friendships begin, and I’m looking forward to supporting players, coaches, and families as we grow together.”

Aaron officially assumed his role with NVMHA this month and will be connecting with teams, coaches, and families throughout the coming weeks. Members can expect to see him at the rink soon — and are encouraged to say hello and welcome him to the association.

The NVMHA Board extends its gratitude to all families for their continued support and patience during a unique season start and the recruitment process for this important leadership position.
