We are excited to announce the NVMHA U15 A1 Regional Program* for the 2025-26 season. Starting in the spring, players will have now have the opportunity to participate in our Identification & Development Camp, where select roster spots for the U15 A1 team will be filled. The remaining positions will be determined through NVMHA’s Rep Tryout process, beginning the third week of August.
The U15 A1 team is designed for dedicated, driven players who are committed to high-level development and training.
Led by certified high-performance coaches and elite trainers, players will grow both individually and as a team. This program is built on a foundation of holistic development, emphasizing not only skill refinement but also the values that define true competitors—sportsmanship, self-discipline, courage, perseverance, and leadership.

No, players do not need to be registered with NVMHA to participate. These sessions are a chance to experience the NVMHA program before making any commitments.
A minimum of six player/goalie commitments will be made to join the U15 A1 team for the upcoming season following the ID camp.
To be considered, players must either attend or complete payment for the April ID camp, in accordance with BC Hockey regulations.
The six early-committed players will be fully integrated into the U15 A1 fall tryout process, with the only difference being that they will already have committed to the U15 A1 team for the upcoming season.
No, players from outside NVMHA do not need to formally transfer or register until they receive an official offer letter, which will be issued either in May (for early commits) or register for the 2025-26 Rep Tryouts & regular NVMHA season, which opens up in May for new registrants.
Yes, this remains unchanged. August tryouts are a “clean slate” for all players who were not part of the six early commitments. Players and families who declare for the U15 A1 Rep Tryout process will have an equal opportunity to make the team.
