NVMHA fields rep teams at the U11, U13, U15, U18, U21 age groups.
For U11 players Rep Tryouts begin after labour day. U11 players participate in try-outs for all rep teams and are required to delcare either skater or goalie position.
For U13 - U18 players
- Rep Tryouts typically begin the third Thursday in August and players must attend to be eligible. Players must declare either forward, defense or goalie positions.
- Players must choose one of two tryout options at registration:
- Option 1 - A1 team try-out - a player who wishes to try-out for the A1 team must register for the A1 tryout out. The cost is $235. Players who are unsuccessful will move on to A2/A3 team tryouts.
- Option 2 - Players who only wish to tryout for A2/A3 teams use this option. The cost is $200. Players who are unsuccessful will move to C Hockey (house).
For U21 players
- Rep Tryouts typically being in mid-September. Players must declare either forward, defense or goalie position.
